RV Water Damage Repair in Dillsburg, PA

Delamination, soft floors, and rotted framing. This is what we are known for.

Mobile and in-shop

Water damage in an RV almost never announces itself. It shows up as a wall that ripples in low sun, a floor that gives a little in front of the bathroom, a smell you cannot place, or a screw head that has quietly pushed itself out of a wall panel. By then the water has usually been moving through the coach for a season or two.

Almost all of it starts above your head. A failed roof seal at a vent, a skylight, or the front cap lets water into the roof deck. From there it runs down inside the sidewall, soaks the luan and the framing, and delaminates the fiberglass from the substrate. Windows, marker lights, and the awning rail are the other usual entry points. Slide seals are close behind.

We are water damage specialists, and that means we chase the water back to where it got in before we rebuild anything. We probe and map the wet area, open only what needs opening, replace rotted framing and decking with new material, re-skin, and then permanently correct the source, usually with a roof reseal or an Apex Armor coating. Rebuilding a wall under a roof that still leaks is throwing your money away, and we will tell you that before we quote it.

Small, caught-early jobs can be handled mobile. Structural work, soft floors, delaminated sidewalls, rotted framing, comes into the shop where we can open it up, dry it out, and put it back together properly.

Signs you need this

  • Wavy, rippled, or bubbled sidewalls, most visible in raking light
  • A spongy or springy spot in the floor, often near the bath or an entry door
  • Stains on the ceiling panel around a vent, skylight, or air conditioner
  • A persistent musty smell that does not clear with airflow
  • Screws or staples backing out of wall panels, or trim separating at seams
  • Soft, dark, or crumbling wood at the base of a slide opening
